University Department of Health Studies

The University Department of Health Studies has developed organizationally in the top university institution for lifelong learning of many traditional and new health professions in our region and the Republic of Croatia. University of Split was first to form in Croatia a new constituent based on the principles of Croatian model of university education of health professionals fully harmonized with the highest European standards of higher education of health professionals and in compliance with the provisions of the documents related to the preparation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework and obligations Croatia has taken on its relation with the European Qualifications Framework.

University Department of Health Studies of the University of Split was founded by decision of the Senate of the University of Split on the 16 February 2011 at its 54th session: Decision on the establishment of the University Department of Health Studies as a constituent of the University of Split.
